technology that is used everywhere

When I try to define what my favorite piece of technology is, I try to think of how other people use this technology and why. I always try to think about how this technology will affect the world. I like inventions that are easy to use, and are reliable. lastly I like technology that everybody uses. The technology that I chose is so widespread that it undoubtedly connects all of the buildings in a city together. My favorite piece of technology is modern plumbing. Modern plumbing has saved millions of lives by maintaining sanitary conditions. Modern plumbing is reliable and widespread. Even though we use this piece of equipment every day, we fail to think about how sophisticated this piece of equipment is. Modern plumbing has to be built in a certain way in order to allow toxic gasses to escape, while storing water, and transporting waste away from the building.
